For all Laval residents' participation in the well-being of their community

The Together in Laval concept comes within an overall vision, an integration philosophy advocated by Ville de Laval. Three guidelines form the basis of the actions we take in our residents' interest:

• Ensure that all residents, regardless of their cultural background, have the same rights and duties as Laval residents.

• Promote equitable access to resources, services and decision-making bodies, so that each resident can fully make his or her own contribution toward the development of Laval.

• Support the development of the feeling of belonging, and encourage everyone's participation, so that common resources are shared, based on membership in the community, rather than with regard to language, cultural, religious or other differences.
